Our Astronomy Night this month will be at Colt Creek State Park on November 10th. The presentation will start at 7:00 pm, rain or shine. Since we’re under cover, don’t let the weather stop you from coming out for a great night of wishing upon the stars.
Our presentation will be an educational “Tonight Show”, AKA: “What’s Up Tonight?”. We’ll show you on the screen what’s observable on that night (known as “eye candy”) and give you some facts about each celestial object. You know, what it is, how far away it is, its name if it has one, or its number. But don’t fret, we’ll keep it relatively short and sweet, because we know everyone wants to get outside and see the real thing. I mean, pictures are nice, and the information is educational and interesting, but the real joy is seeing the real thing.
So, come out and get to know us. Don’t forget, “We bring the universe to you”.
Just a reminder: We start at 7:00 pm. For safety reasons, the park gates close at 8:00 pm.
